We’re excited to welcome back saxophonist Steve Wilson to our Jazz in the Crawlspace series for an intimate night of jazz in downtown Kalamazoo. Wilson has been part of the New York jazz scene since 1987 and has performed and recorded with artists including Chick Corea, Dave Holland, Christian McBride, Maria Schneider, Michael Brecker, Dianne Reeves, and Joe Henderson. He’s also a longtime presence in the DownBeat Critics and Readers Polls, recognized for his lyrical, expressive approach on both alto and soprano saxophone. This is a chance to hear a veteran of the international jazz scene up close, in the relaxed setting of our jazz listening room.
